Rise OC 2026 Recreational League
ALERT!! NEW REC LEAGUE SPRING/SUMMER SCHEDULE WILL BE RELEASED VERY SOON. EXPECT MAY/JUNE & JUNE/JULY PROGRAMS
Rise Volleyball Recreational League (Co-Ed)
The Rise Volleyball Recreational League is designed as a fun, structured, and low-pressure introduction to volleyball for boys and girls in 4th–8th grade. This co-ed program is ideal for beginner and beginner/intermediate athletes who want to learn the game, build confidence, and get meaningful reps in a positive environment.
The league runs as an 7-week session, meeting once per week for a 2-hour practice, and concludes with a fun end-of-season tournament that allows players to apply what they’ve learned in a game setting. Practices and games are led by a Rise Master Coach, ensuring consistent instruction, clear practice plans, and age-appropriate skill development.
Rather than focusing on standings or pressure to win, the Rec League emphasizes learning the game through play. Athletes will participate in 6v6 as well as 4v4, 3v3, and 2v2 formats, giving them more ball contacts, more decision-making opportunities, and a better overall understanding of volleyball strategy and flow.
This short-term format is a great option for families looking for:
A strong entry point into volleyball
Skill development without the commitment of a full club season
A fun, encouraging atmosphere that keeps kids engaged and excited to play
